Got my first baby card done today, I haven't managed to use my embossing folders much so headed straight for it when I started, I'm not that sure about it but the customer loved it so that's the main thing. I thought I was going to get the others done but I spent the day cleaning for the Christmas tree- bore! but it has to be done, you see I have to move all the room around so it fits. We have the turning on of the lights in the village on Saturday along with the evenings entertainment, tea 7 cake for the adults and disco for the kids, so on Sunday evening I'll cook us lots of hummies and we'll trim the tree :o) I can't wait, I just hope it doesn't take 5hrs like last year!!!
A little look into my love of card making, scrapbooking, jewellery making & anything crafty

Customer Orders
Got some more customer orders sorted today, the lush pink one is for a Head Teacher from the primary school I done the fair at, she really wanted something pink but came to the table too late, that village really love pink I was sold out!!!
The second is for a customer from my jewellery website, I don't know what it is but I love working with that colour. It's not exactly what they where looking for but my supplier is out of stock of the bugles that I needed to add to it so I hope they like it.
Now my big mix up one was just made to use up a few single lampwork beads that I had left, I didn't have enough to make a full bracelet so opted to add more green, sterling silver round beads, some Bali silver caps & swarovski crystals. It was a bit of trial end error but I just love the final result so this one won't be up for sale I'm afraid.

Lovely Beads
No paper crafting for me today I'm afraid, instead I've been playing with my beads- heaven! Got a few things made for a customer & some more beads on order for another. Once finished I had the mammoth task of photographing them all, I decided to cheat this time and use my mobile and not my tent like I should, I really wanted to see the difference. The mobile was a bit more time consuming as far as getting them in focus and you can't really get a good close up like you can with a micro lens but the results weren't bad t all. This means I've got a lot of work ahead of me with the website LOL it's been long over due though!

New Cards
The wonderfully tallented Trina Clak has a sale on over at her site with loads of Christmas graphics & loads more!
Managed to get my printer up and running again so couldn't wait to get playing with my Pink Petticoat papers, they are mega lush!! The first card was printed onto pearlise paper and gives a great shine I was really please with the effect, it shows more in the 2nd pic.
My little pink JoY creation is again PP papers, Funk-a-licious graphic, two peas font & to top it off a little Sugar, Sugar nellie that is :o)
Moray Seals
After Abbie's hospital appointment we decided to head for lunch and then the park but it was too wet so we ended up at Spey Bay, it was cold but dry. The kids where having great fun looking for their walking stick and throwing stones into the sea, we decided to walk to the edge of the water and noticed this cute face peeping out the water at us and before we knew it there was four of them. The kids where thrilled as they have only ever saw them in sanctuary's like the one in Scarborough we had visited in Oct, trying to get a picture we that was another matter!! The kids thought it was hilarious every time I got close to the waters edge for a great pic the seals would disappear, I didn't have my long lens camera just my mobile so really needed to get closer but it wasn't to be LOL The dots in the two middle pics are actually the seals, never mind we just have to catch a peek at the dolphin's.

Toppers in the house
I'm back into my toppers again, I need to earn some cash for the shop or hubby will have me out to work-aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh not good! Talking about the shop got a letter in from them today regarding a few points that I have to answer for them, it was sooo funny as I was shaking trying to open the thing in case it was the answer i was looking for, but hey it wasn't and it wasn't a no either so that's great. So I've a few days to get their questions answered and then hopefully I'll get the final result :o)
There have been some major changes decided for the inside layout, the building warrant folk said the stairs had to be a non combustible material, a fire escape added to the upstairs storage room and the roof apex raised!!! so instead we;re ripping ot the stairs and turning the stairs into a loft :o) job done hopefully, it's turned into a good thing as i will have more space on he shop floor with means more room for craft stash- bonus! and i can have a bigger tables for my cop meetings, more room for mess.

Fair Today
Been really busy this week getting ready for a Christmas fair at one of my Mum's schools so not had time to craft or blog I'm afraid soz! I've been up to my elbows in beads and soap making, but I love it really it makes me want to have my shop open even more cause I know I'll be up to that sort of stuff all the time and I luv it :o)
Posted some pics of last weekends family day out, well that's what it was supposed to be best laid plans and all, the Internet said a few of the castle where supposed to be open including Fyviv but when we arrived it was closed apart from a lovely couple's wedding that was being held there, oops. It wasn't all lost they have a huge lake there which is a lovely walk so we spent a couple of house doing the looooooong walk as my Abbie put it, but hey it's better than being such in and we ended up having a great time together, I've added a few pics with a rare one of me just to prove i was there as I'm always behind the camera I even feel left out :o( the grin on my face isn't the best but it was really really really cold, the huge lake I was on about it behind me in the pic but it looks like a puddle LOL Got some stash due this week along with some card orders so hope to have crafty pics with you soon xxx

Happy Halloween!
Sorry it's late but i was so bust last night getting the pumpkin & decorations sorted that i was sooo tired i couldn't be bothered blogging, soz!! Here's a pic of this years pumpkin, thankfully in this new house we can only have one, how pleased am I, in our old house we had three, a lot of carving and not one with a basic face!!!
The shop has taken another turn but it's not a bad thing, with having the upstairs level there are all sorts of rules about stairs and fire escapes etc so we are taking away the stairs and class in the upstairs a loft space, the bad news is the hours spend cleaning the walls was in vain as the want all the walls covered with insulation and plaster board :o( It's a real shame, not just because of all of mine and hubbies hard work, but the wall's are really lovely brick, oh well never mind i guess it's a small sacrifice for a dream! Aaron the architect will be working on the new plans over the weekend and should have some more news next week, finger's crossed again please.
