Fab News and Gorjuss Girls

Some fab news to share is that i have been very lucky enough to have been asked to join Craft Stamper's design team blog :D Hope you check out the talented team I'm so lucky to be working with, Ive added their blogs to the right so feel free to check them out <3 p="">

So this is my first card made for the challenge, our challenge was to create an item using Monoprinting with acrylic blocks 

This was an new thing for me so I was thrilled to give it a go and had a fab time planning, I'm not normally one for getting messy but this was fun x

I dipped into my Docrafts stash and all the bits you see are available there x

Docrafts Sew Lovely

If you haven't came across the new range from Docrafts called Sew Lovely your missing out for sure!!!

The colours are fantastic with a great mix of patterns and florals, I've have been having great fun with this and the new sprays also from Docrafts, they have a real high metallic shimmer and dry real fast which is a huge bonus :D

My little Abbie-lou recently joined our local Karate club and they had their 1st grading through in Aberdeen, she got her new suite and headed in full of confidence :D

The whole class done great and passed & Abbie-Lou and DOm went up two belts and are now the proud owners of the red belt, her brother better watch out lol

Crafty Blogger Network Challenge

Its that time again over at Crafty Blogger Network :D

 I decided to scrap a pic from my hubs and I's wedding day, 15 years ago today I walked down the isle to meet him and begin a life together. In that time we have lived all over the country in our life with the RAF, we've had two beautiful children.

Yesterday we headed to Aberdeen for breakfast, clothes shopping.....

......TGI Fridays my latest fav hangout :D...

 ......shopping and to the Swarovski shop where I was treated to this stunning bracelet :D....

.....and when I returned home 15 beautiful red roses where waiting for me...

...I finished off the day at the youth cafe I volunteer at for a game of bingo lol

Happy Anniversary huni I love you forever & Always and thanx for a lovely time yesterday xxx

Docrafts Wellington

In my design kit I was lucky enough to have the new Wellington Clear Stamp set :D much excitement was had I can tell you as I've been eagerly waiting this chap!!

The stamp set is mainly geared towards males for a nice change but Wellington is just stunning on baby cards as you can see from the couple above, I've used Distress Markers Tumbled Glass & Worn Lipstick and I think a few more will be made he's just perfect :D

Cascading Urban Card

Been seeing a few of these cascade cards around the net and on Pinterest and I found a real simple tutorial which I adapted for A4 as i really hate the faffing of cutting 12x12 as your left with a lot of waste! I used to uber lush Urban paper pack from Docrafts, as you'll have noticed this card is never going to fit in an envelope lol but it's for my next Docrafts demo so don't matter :D 

Wedding Season

Been a while since I last blogged but I've been megga busy at the shop tidying, sorting orders & just general ever day goings on in there. I'm due my next Docrafts demo kits so I want to be ready to get stuck in when it arrives as I'm due Boofle, Enchanted Fairies and a few other bits from new ranges, much excitement :D
I've ran low on wedding cards and saw this cute idea on Pinterest & just had to have a go. I've used old papers, I'm being good, the real nice Docrafts heart die,again made using old cut offs and just any nice embossing folder and adhesive pearls :D

Dull Dull Dull

Its rather dull & wet here today so i though I'd pop on the card I made yesterday from this months wonderful Do Crafts Creativity Club Enchanted download

The background was made from colourbox ink pad-cyan, rub over a card blank till happy with finish, the I stamped a sun rubber stamp in Momento-danude blue, where ever I fancied :D

Desk Clear Up

Totally shamed after yesterday's WOWW, not that was it at its worst lol, thank you to all the WOWWers who have visited the blog & left lovely comments, I'll get round to visiting you all today!!

I decided I needed to get something done with the hearts I cut from my new Sizzix dies on Monday. Valentine cards are needed in the shop so I took some inspiration from Pintrest and got stuck in :D
