Oh Baby...

.....a friend of a friend had a new baby this week and my friend needed a card, whats the problem I hear you ask?? Well the couple are rather modern, not into frills and defo no pink sparkle overload!!!
So a very clever girl called Marline scrapped a stunning scrapbook layout of her daughter and it was perfect to try a take of it onto a card, I've never really tackled the white on white card making craze but I gave it a shot! as you can see I did get some sparkle on it :D

Docrafts Wellington

In my design kit I was lucky enough to have the new Wellington Clear Stamp set :D much excitement was had I can tell you as I've been eagerly waiting this chap!!
The stamp set is mainly geared towards males for a nice change but Wellington is just stunning on baby cards as you can see from the couple above, I've used Distress Markers Tumbled Glass & Worn Lipstick and I think a few more will be made he's just perfect :D

Sunday Post Early

Well i expect that I'll be spending the day with hubs and the bambino's so I'm posting this tonight, I was soo lucky to be allowed to have a play in my craft room as well today :o) so I've had a fabby crafting time. These are just a couple of cards that I've designed for the shoppe, I had some baby Magnolia's lying around needing a home so thought I' have a play with them and my cuttlebug embossing folders and with the end of term coming up I thought I'd better make a start on teacher cards, Edwin is soooo cute and really makes the card I think. Hopefully I'll get some more time to play this week.
It's been my last week at work which I'm looking forward to but not, the guys there are so supportive of my big step ahead which I'm really greatful for, they are all looking forward to my bug launch which is great. I'm not looking forward to the goodbyes though, I've had a great time with them and will miss the laugh's I have had with Myra but I'm sure we'll keep in touch as she's such a lovely person.

5 To Go

Got my first baby card done today, I haven't managed to use my embossing folders much so headed straight for it when I started, I'm not that sure about it but the customer loved it so that's the main thing. I thought I was going to get the others done but I spent the day cleaning for the Christmas tree- bore! but it has to be done, you see I have to move all the room around so it fits. We have the turning on of the lights in the village on Saturday along with the evenings entertainment, tea 7 cake for the adults and disco for the kids, so on Sunday evening I'll cook us lots of hummies and we'll trim the tree :o) I can't wait, I just hope it doesn't take 5hrs like last year!!!
