Handmade Tiara's

I've had a couple of Tiara orders come through and felt i should get a bit of practice in before I make them just to get back into the swing of things again. I just had some free play and ran a bit wild and now my fingers are red and sore lol but I'm pleased with my efforts.

Been Playing

Finally got the goodies in to complete my latest order so I am well chuffed and really need to dust now as these letters make a right mess lol

As well as the dust I have the glitter to clear us as I have been working on the Easter window decorations, sparkles all the way :)

Gorjuss Girls Decoupage Coming Soon!!!

Little Gems Of Heaven...... Beads!!!

Now to the lush beads, here are just a few pics of the new arrivals into Cullen Crafts but beware they are selling fast!! Our jewellery making selection has recently been extended and we now happily boast that we have one of the biggest selections of glass beads, gemstones, Swarovski Crystal & finding in the North!

But don't worry we won't stop there as we have our eye on another section of the shop which will look rather nice changed over to beads :)

I can't believe it's that time all ready!!! Time has just flown by as I've been sooo busy with the shop, things have been manic but that's what I get for praying on a quiet January and February!!!

We have a new campaign started to support our troops out in operation and I thought I'd tell you about it in case any of you readers out there are local and would like to join in with us :)

We are starting up the craft group again on a Sunday from 1pm-3pm for free,
the plan is to get together and bring our fav card making tool, inks, card etc and make cards for the troops. I have contacted a huge amount of craft suppliers and asked if they could possibly donate any stash that is heading for the bin or any seconds that could be used. As you will read on the blog we took delivery of a fab box of goodies from Personal Impressions :)

Forever Friends

We took delivery of the Docrafts Forever Friends range just before Christmas but I never got a change for a good play, so yesterday I needed a quick card and came up with this :)
They are just uber cute!!!!

Cuttlebug Embossing

I am using my embossing folders more and more these days, I think I forgot how brill they are!! anyhoo we took delivery of some lush mirri card and it works a dream with them. I had an order for a glam puss's 40th birthday and this just sum's her up, with some lovely Swarovski crystal bling :)

Toddles & Binks Time

In the 1st two months of the year I have to spend my quiet time's making stock for the summer times ahead but with all the snow around it's hard to get in the mood lol
So out came this little beauty from Toodles & Binks :) I tried mt fun flock with him, not very impressed but he lasted two mins before he was sold!!! customer spied him on my till and had to have him, who am I to argue.

I am just loving the deco flowers and can't seem to stop playing with them!!! The pad comes in at £8.50 with is high end for the shop but when I calculated it out there are 24 pages in the pad and that would work out about 35p each flower but it's way better than that as you don't have to layer them as much, that way you can get double from it I've been getting 2 from a page which brings it down to 17p approx :) Bargain and pretty at the same time :)

I have decided to get this range of decoupage in the shop!!! I have fell in love with the artwork, and have an order sent away which will have cars, trucks, trains, motorbikes and a few other designs I just thinks it's a bit different :)

Our roads 2 weeks ago!!!

and finally this past couple of days it finally seems to be going at last, only problem is the rain seems to be coming instead. The next time it rains I will remind myself not to wish it was snowing lol

Jewellery Making

I started this while away over Christmas, I look a huge back of supplies with me so I could play when the kids where tucked in bed but never managed to even complete this lol
I decided to a tutorial I was given on pearl stringing, boy it was tricky when you aren't in your own workroom but we get there and couldn't go any further because like a muppet I forgot to put claps in with my supplies :(
Anyhoo this was some real sweet rice pearls, with some cute Bali Silver Celtic spacer beads and a lush Swarovski Crystal pendant, all from the shop supplies and the tiny little silver spacers where purchased in Bristol
. I'm actually really pleased with it but as always my photography isn't the best and it looks way better real life :) only issue now how much to charge lol

The Thaw!!!

Our thaw has began :) the kids got to school today :) I had a day off :) I went for Coffee with my mate Helen:) I had the house to myself :)
WOW what a great day!!!
I purchased some lush handmade beads and they arrived today so just had to share with you!!! and another one of those "D" cards I did lol I will confess I really love how they turned out and may have to make some more

Decoupage!!!! is a BAD word for me........

.......... but I had some freebie samples and the lovely lady who normally does DP for me is under the weather so I had to do it myself :( I was quite surprised by how it turned out and might get some of the range in, I never thought I'd see the day where I liked the finished result of my decoupage lol

Lots Of Snow & Crafting :)

Finally Cullen has snow that has stayed long enough for the kids to play in :) This pic was taken before the real heavy stuff came down!!! Hope you are all getting by fine, at the moment our deliveries are still getting through so no drama as yet I'm pleased to say.

I have had a few card orders to get through which was nice as I haven't crafted over the hols :)
I am lovin the new flower decopague pad from My Minds Eye they made lush cards and are megga easy to use!!

Hope you all had a great time over the Bells :) we had a quiet one down in Bristol but thankfully managed to make it home yesterday after a pit stop in Manchester!!
We have a heap of snow falling at the moment but that won't sort the SALE starting tomorrow :) We have rubber stamps, Christmas stock, paper punches, Sizzix and heaps more reduced by up to 70% while stocks last
