Ickle Baby Cards

This is one of the new released from Toodle & Binks, I have no idea why but I though it would make a great baby card, I think it works well! There is also a super cute goat that I hope to get to play with today :) Pop over to T & B by he link on the right and see the super cards being created.

This was jut a quick one made for a lady my Mum works for, her poor daughter was 15 days over her due date!!! but it worked out quiet well as they live out in oz and Granny flew out with him only 1 day old so he's still fresh, nothing sweeter :) My cards lately are being made up with bits from my scraps box, well I have 5 of them, I have soooo much stuff being wasted lying in boxes so I decided to get it used and get organised, well thats the plan.

Gorjuss Girl & More Goodies

I think I forgot to mention my new Gorjuss stamp set!!! They are just fab and very different from the first lot which is great, the angel & bear is my fave, this was just a quick one but I am pleased with how it turned out.

This is something I am very excited about my new range of gift ware in the shop from the lovely people at East Of India, still in the handmade theme and super cute!! They have a great mix of shaker style gifts for everyone, so be warned family and friends your be getting some of this LOL

I love this pic purely cause it's craft goodies, na I just love the colours LOL There was some new exciting products from the supplier and I had to have them for the shop/website, as you do, I'll be hopefully adding them to the website later today, if you want peek a link to the shop is on the right.

Some Great News!!!

They are sooooooooooooo fab, I ordered from the new Spring selection but I couldn't resist a few from the others so we have the lush wedding cake, Love Muffin & the cute Babies.

On My Hols :)

The Gorjuss Girls have arrived, well some of them I am just waiting on the pocket mirrors, they are even cuter in real life if that is at all possible, m only problem is I have had 4 orders for framed pics like mine LOL

This I'm afraid is the only card I'll have on show for a wee while as the only crafting i have with me are my stamps, copics and beads I decide i really need a break fro crafting before the summer starts.

I have some of this little beauty after doing a stamping session wit my friend jenny, she very kindly came into the shop to play, I actually loved the Magnolia Spring set that much I have ordered a few for the shop/website I can't wait!!!!!

This little yellow fellow was the chick my ickle boy(he's 11) made me for mothers day, minus the cream egg as that's long gone lol

My poor blog has been abandoned as i was busy getting the shop sorted, all the orders complete and the kids in check before I left on holiday, we are in sunny York! I love it such a beautiful place with beautiful old buildings and the most amazing quirky shops all over the place.

Yesterday we headed to PC world as my laptop is playing up and hubs agreed I need a new one :) I did think very hard about a pink one but I don't think I will get the right spec or the my price range :( and we went to see the Monsters v Aliens movie, it was funny in parts but the main thing was it was easy on my brain and the kids loved it.

Sunny Day

We had a beautiful sunny day today with very little wind which was a nice change, I unfortunately had to go to work but I'm hoping it will be shining again tomorrow as I have the day off with the kids :)
I was busy today in the shop, the lovely Jenny came in for a surprise visit and we got some rubber stamping done so I had some of the Magnolia Spring stamps to play with, yeah me!!
I took delivery of some new Nestibilities and had to have a play, I just love card making with them, I hope to get them on the website in the next couple of weeks, I'll show you my creations another day as it's late and I really should be off to bed LOL

Pots & Chicks

Well they are not really pots, these a couple of my latest creation from my pottery course! I am in love with the ickle cup at the top it is the most perfect little thing ever & thankfully not just my opinion my tutor raved about it so I was very please with myself, I can't take any credit for the glazing as that is something the Fiona does for us but the throwing and decorating is done my me with Brian & Fiona's help, they are just the best and really make up push ourselves and always part their huge knowledge on the art.
I'm not keen on seeing my next lot as we learned to go small and create egg cups, nasty horrid little things they are!!! never again I'll head to a shop and buy one if I ever need one LOL

Anyhoo this is little Chickadee!! He/she is super sweet and was going to be fluffy but I didn't have any yellow fun flock :( so Amelie is gettin flocked tomorrow!! I still feel these is something missing but I always stick flowers on these days and wanted to steer clear but couldn't get my head round what to ass, so plain it is LOL

Introducing Amelie

This adorable little thing arrived on my doorstep this morning from Toodle & Binks she is just fab, I did colour with my copics she is pink but the light doesn't show it well. The best thing about this one is that my little girl is soooo chuffed "there is a rubber stamp named after her bestest friend in the whole world" LOL aww bless, seriously though you need to get yourself some of these lush stamps, I've made a card with the chickadee but that will have to wait for another day

I did make a card for my friend and without even thinking I reached for my Gorjuss Girls :) I left it plain as I wanted it to be all about the paper and the little pic of her.

Cupcakes mmmmmmmmmmmmm

One of my many Mothers day treats where these little beauties made by Sweet Cheeks herself!!! Of course she had to help me eat them LOL mine did have little flowers and the black diamond, my fav. I had a lovely morning with the kids and my Mum before heading to work but I was thoroughly spoiled, my boy made me a clay chicken with a cream egg (pics to follow as my battery ran done) very talented kids me thinks I have. I also had Hello Kitty gem studded pj's, 2 bunches of flowers and 2 boxes of chocolates, just as well I've started running again LOL

New Shop Front Swirls

I have been looking for something to fill the top corners of my shop windows but really couldn't decide, untill that was I began to doodle and lucky for me a friend of fine's brother has a fabby sign & graphics business and he created these lovely little scrolls for me :) They look better in the flesh so to speak but i am a very happy bunny, the next step is to add the website address, but he doesn't know that yet LOL

I have loads of card orders to get through this week, here a just a couple, my next challenge is 3 65th Anniversary cards to be given to the same couple aaaahhhhh!! I alway find these a challenge. I am busy with the Gorjuss girl cards too but i just can't keep up with the demand.
Things at the shop are going great but I am on the lookout for someone to run the card & scrapbooking workshops as I just don't have the time :( so if your interested drop me an email :)

I finally found time to mount my 1st Gorjuss Girl :) I think she is super and couldn't resist adding the Tim Holtz Grunge Skull & my fav blooms!! She is actually taking pride of place in the shop window advertising the new Gorjuss range coming in.

Last Week's Activities

Abbie had a mad hatter's tea party at her school for Red Nose day so we had a hat to make, they had a great day and the school raised £250 + which is fab when there is only 150 kids in the school!!

These are my latest purchases, as you know I love the Gorjuss Girls and this week they brought out 'I Heart Goth' in a cute tote bag so I had to have it, I have decide to try their range of mirrors, bookmarks and key rings in the shop, I am megga excited!!!

One of my other lurves is hello Kitty and I just had to have this pair of uber cute metalic pink flatties :)


For a change a card LOL A friend of mine makes kilts and had a heap of scraps so she gave them to me in case i could use them and I came up with this, I used Elmo for the letters but I think the next time I will print them instead, trying to get the glue on was a pain.

I thought I'd share with you my other passion, I finally got round to taking pics of some of my work!!! I am into my 4th session and loving it my teachers Brain & Fiona are just the best and are always at had, Fiona has her own site Watergaw there are some truly amazing works!!
