Missing In Action

Hi all :D I've been out of action with regards to my internet :( and been megga busy in the shop, my printer has been playing up to, so haven't managed much crafting done!!!

I decided to day to get come quick cards made after getting some commission work out the way, I love simple cards & I love making them, plus I love butterflies :D so loved the ideas of these!!

All you need is a rubber stamp, this one of from Woodware with two greetings and is only about £3.65,  a heap of scraps, Martha Stewart punch & some bling :D

Just starting to post my card from the last round from my Docrafts kit :) First from the Lucy Cromwell Ultimate Kit

Boofle With Love

My new demo kit from Docrafts arrived :D I'm having great fun playing with the fab new ranges released this month, with Boofle so far I made a card and a little chocolate holder box.

Special Make......

..........For a soon to be special 60yr old :D

My Hubbies Aunt Marion is going to be 60 soon, she defo doesn't look it, so I wanted t create something unique just for her. Aunt M, as she affectionally known in out house, has a special place in our hearts for many reasons but for me she is a lady who has never judged me, took me for who I am and made me feel so welcome, loved and party of her family!

 (same goes for Uncle Clive without a doubt)

I couldn't sleep the other night for trying to come up with an idea, I wanted to incorporate all  the things she loves like adventure, travel, fashion, being Scottish etc 

Finally I decided on the square theme, I had help from Uncle C & Cuz Chris with her fav colour, I dusted off my Quickutz collection and got to work. Although you can see the size in the pics the card has ended up rather large a whopping 10"x10" lol not my usual, its that large it has had to be reinforced oops!!

I have no pics of the inside as her birthday pressie is hiding away in there :D

I've been getting my groove on again, it's fantastic getting to play with some lush products :D

On A Roll

My craft groove is still kickin in I am delighted to say & today I managed a scrapbook page, I think it's been about 3 years since my last, I know slapped wrist!!!
I've started a real simple canvas as well with some lush butterfly's hopefully ill be able to how you tomorrow if I finish :D

Pastures New

I'm not giving away to much at the mo but I still wanted to show some of the 2012 craftiness so far.
I have the lush new Portobello Road stash and I know I would have loved them to bring out a Scottish range but with the Olympics & Queen Jubilee around the corner I understand why.
The ribbons and papers are über lush and I know I am going to play lots with this range :D
I also had fun with more of Do Crafts goodies!!

Christmas Birthday Card

Getting back into my card making and there's nothing better than a Christmas Birthday card :) I was told it was a 30th and it had to match a winter wonderland birthday cake which from what I hear was stunning!!

There was some goings in the shop on Monday, we finally for some heating installed and it's fantastic :) We are hoping the plumber will be in this week to remove and extra sink and then over the holidays we will be in to clean, freshen and hopefully expanding so watch this space!!
Well all orders are up to day and my own Christmas shopping apart from a few stocking fillers and the food shopping and that parts alway an adventure lol
The shop will be closed from 25th Dec through to 3rd January, hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a great 2012 x

Forever Friends

We took delivery of the Docrafts Forever Friends range just before Christmas but I never got a change for a good play, so yesterday I needed a quick card and came up with this :)
They are just uber cute!!!!

Cuttlebug Embossing

I am using my embossing folders more and more these days, I think I forgot how brill they are!! anyhoo we took delivery of some lush mirri card and it works a dream with them. I had an order for a glam puss's 40th birthday and this just sum's her up, with some lovely Swarovski crystal bling :)

Toddles & Binks Time

In the 1st two months of the year I have to spend my quiet time's making stock for the summer times ahead but with all the snow around it's hard to get in the mood lol
So out came this little beauty from Toodles & Binks :) I tried mt fun flock with him, not very impressed but he lasted two mins before he was sold!!! customer spied him on my till and had to have him, who am I to argue.

I am just loving the deco flowers and can't seem to stop playing with them!!! The pad comes in at £8.50 with is high end for the shop but when I calculated it out there are 24 pages in the pad and that would work out about 35p each flower but it's way better than that as you don't have to layer them as much, that way you can get double from it I've been getting 2 from a page which brings it down to 17p approx :) Bargain and pretty at the same time :)

I have decided to get this range of decoupage in the shop!!! I have fell in love with the artwork, and have an order sent away which will have cars, trucks, trains, motorbikes and a few other designs I just thinks it's a bit different :)

Our roads 2 weeks ago!!!

and finally this past couple of days it finally seems to be going at last, only problem is the rain seems to be coming instead. The next time it rains I will remind myself not to wish it was snowing lol

The Thaw!!!

Our thaw has began :) the kids got to school today :) I had a day off :) I went for Coffee with my mate Helen:) I had the house to myself :)
WOW what a great day!!!
I purchased some lush handmade beads and they arrived today so just had to share with you!!! and another one of those "D" cards I did lol I will confess I really love how they turned out and may have to make some more

Decoupage!!!! is a BAD word for me........

.......... but I had some freebie samples and the lovely lady who normally does DP for me is under the weather so I had to do it myself :( I was quite surprised by how it turned out and might get some of the range in, I never thought I'd see the day where I liked the finished result of my decoupage lol

Lots Of Snow & Crafting :)

Finally Cullen has snow that has stayed long enough for the kids to play in :) This pic was taken before the real heavy stuff came down!!! Hope you are all getting by fine, at the moment our deliveries are still getting through so no drama as yet I'm pleased to say.

I have had a few card orders to get through which was nice as I haven't crafted over the hols :)
I am lovin the new flower decopague pad from My Minds Eye they made lush cards and are megga easy to use!!
