New Venture

My latest obsession is Indie Nail Polish and Ive set up a Facebook page called
Freaky Styley
I've always had a love of nail polish but real crappy nails so often used acrylics but recently while playing and planning with a dear friend who has also set up her own polish business HERE  I found the polishes where protecting my nails and they ended up stinger and grew so I'm super happy :D

There aren't many of us UK based Indie Polish makers out there but what i have seen out there are awesome! I've added a few pictures of my creations below <3 p="">As well as selling via my Facebook page I'll also be selling in my Folksy shop which you can find

Docrafts Sew Lovely

If you haven't came across the new range from Docrafts called Sew Lovely your missing out for sure!!!

The colours are fantastic with a great mix of patterns and florals, I've have been having great fun with this and the new sprays also from Docrafts, they have a real high metallic shimmer and dry real fast which is a huge bonus :D

Happy Birthday

My Dad celebrated his Birthday yesterday so I got a bit of card making done for something other than Docrafts, it makes a lovely change to just have a play :D

Docrafts Makes

Been a long time I know

Well the past few months I've been busy working on other things behind the scenes and trying to figure out where I'm headed with work/craft, it was all getting a bit much so I trimmed everything back and now concentrating on growing Paper Cherry and Docrafts. 

Then my most amazing husband risked me away in a surprise trip to New York for 5 days it was totally amazing of him and the city wasn't bad either :) I was blown away by the place it was totally amazing and although the two of us did cram in heaps there is still so much left to see so we're defo going back, was such a fantastic experience :D

Gorjuss Girl By Docrafts

Thought I'd share with you some makes from the latest round of fab products from Docrafts :D As many of you know I am a huge fan and just adore what Docrafts have done with the packaging, papers, stamps and my fav washi tape!!!
I'm my scrapbook page I've made a few of the embellishments using washi tape and over the next couple of days I'll take some pics on how to create them, they are real easy once you know how and so effective x

Cute Numbers

We took delivery of some cute little wooden letters and numbers & I couldn't resist a play :)
The letters at 20p each and the little canvas £2, I used some Docrafts pearlised pain at £2 and cut a glitter heart from some scrap glitter paper, a cute gift or fun craft to do with with the kids :D

Mouldings

Total random post from me things have been crazy busy over the past few weeks with work, illness and charity stuff that I haven't been able to blog, make cards or take any pics to post on here :(
Just about to go to bed when I was just staring at my living room ceiling and was struck by the beauty of it, not we have lived here for nearly 7 years and the mouldings really clinched the deal for this house so it's not as if I haven't noticed them before, but tonight I guess I just fell in live with them all over again :D

Docrafts All Aboard

Well the lastest round of new Docrafts goodies has arrived :D
I'm adoring the cute album for all your holiday travel snaps, I made four pages last week just got carried away a wee bit lol There are ribbons, papers, toppers, tags, stickers, stamps and fabulous washi tape I just love it all!!!

Docrafts Time

Thought I'd share with you my fabulous Valentine pressi from my hubster :D every year we say we ain't buying anything for each other and every year he doesn't listen lol I was gifted a stunning pair of Irregular Choice and he received Skyfall and some BBQ ribs :D
I will be missing in action this week as my kit has arrived for my next demo and I'm working on some bits for the wonderful Katy Godbeer over at Docrafts, I love my job!!!

Still Paper Cutting Of Sorts

Been missing in action again trying to get so many things done :D I've made cards but mostly i've been paper cutting while I wait for the next round of Docrafts goodies to hit the door mat11

Above is a sneek peek of a cut I'm doing for a famous crafty lady, I tried my hand at converting a photograph to cut for her just as a thank you and its a tricky one so good practice 

In our fabulous paper group with have monthly comps and this month was to design a book cover so I decided on my favourite genre Vampires but instead of going all twilight like you might expect I fancied the Bram Stoker look :D

This one was just a bit of fun to see how it would work, I really love doing the image cuts!!!

I did make a card this week, a very quick one but it still counts :D
