New Shop Front Swirls

I have been looking for something to fill the top corners of my shop windows but really couldn't decide, untill that was I began to doodle and lucky for me a friend of fine's brother has a fabby sign & graphics business and he created these lovely little scrolls for me :) They look better in the flesh so to speak but i am a very happy bunny, the next step is to add the website address, but he doesn't know that yet LOL

I have loads of card orders to get through this week, here a just a couple, my next challenge is 3 65th Anniversary cards to be given to the same couple aaaahhhhh!! I alway find these a challenge. I am busy with the Gorjuss girl cards too but i just can't keep up with the demand.
Things at the shop are going great but I am on the lookout for someone to run the card & scrapbooking workshops as I just don't have the time :( so if your interested drop me an email :)

I finally found time to mount my 1st Gorjuss Girl :) I think she is super and couldn't resist adding the Tim Holtz Grunge Skull & my fav blooms!! She is actually taking pride of place in the shop window advertising the new Gorjuss range coming in.

Last Week's Activities

Abbie had a mad hatter's tea party at her school for Red Nose day so we had a hat to make, they had a great day and the school raised £250 + which is fab when there is only 150 kids in the school!!

These are my latest purchases, as you know I love the Gorjuss Girls and this week they brought out 'I Heart Goth' in a cute tote bag so I had to have it, I have decide to try their range of mirrors, bookmarks and key rings in the shop, I am megga excited!!!

One of my other lurves is hello Kitty and I just had to have this pair of uber cute metalic pink flatties :)


For a change a card LOL A friend of mine makes kilts and had a heap of scraps so she gave them to me in case i could use them and I came up with this, I used Elmo for the letters but I think the next time I will print them instead, trying to get the glue on was a pain.

I thought I'd share with you my other passion, I finally got round to taking pics of some of my work!!! I am into my 4th session and loving it my teachers Brain & Fiona are just the best and are always at had, Fiona has her own site Watergaw there are some truly amazing works!!

Knitting & Design Team Shout

Cards have taken a back seat for a few days as I have been knitting socks!!! I knitted myself a green pair-above, and I'm now in the middle of a pair for my sweet cheeks. I didn't think I would manage it but they are megga easy & if i can do it anyone can

I heard through the grapevine singles are being made available to buy at the end of the month and they new artwork for the second set have been sent to Funky Kits wooooohooooo the second set is supposed to be better than the first it that is al all possible!!!

I played with the girls agin today, not as funky as the other two but i was busy in the shop today and i couldn't get my creative head going LOL Never mind it's still cute

Where the heck is the year going!!! I know I was looking forward to the summer coming round to us quick but this is ridiculous LOL Never mind plenty of card making gettin done in between the knitting. I have finished my socks & I am well chuffed with them they are sooooo cute and comfy, they are that good my Abbie wanted a pair but she wanted thigh Hugh's!!! she will be getting knee highs the little madam, I'll get some pics taken when I can-

Another Gorjuss Girl

I couldn't help but play with the girls again today, I just love how fantastic this ickle cutie looks in greays & black. I can't explain it but I'll try the detail in these stamps are great for colouring with copics especially if your not good with the shading, the detail is there to guide.
No doubt I'll be playing tomorrow too, I am really looking forward to the next set!!!

Sympathy Cards

I always find these a struggle and unfortunately they are one of my main sellers, this week especially I had to make a few for family. I am pleased how they turned out though I tried out my new Marthar Stwart punch that cuz sent over from the States, it is such a great punch and I hope to be using it a lot.

Gorjuss Rubber Stamp Girls!!!

I am a very happy girl today as my set of Gorjuss rubber stamps arrived on my doorstep, they are just as beautiful as their pictures and are just plane old super cute!!! I know it's rather strange to have a skull beside such a cutie but I thought of my newly acquired I heart Goth picture from Gorjuss and just had to put one on :) Not sure who is getting the card get I might just keep this one for me!

Fav Card Of The Mo

I don't normally don't have any fav cards but I really love this rubber stamp ans the paper is still one of my fav retro patterns from K & Co, I couldn't put it on my blog though as it would spoil the surprise.
This may be the past card I post for a while as I am working hard behind the scenes creating my shop website, we in between learning to knit socks LOL

New Bag & Knitting

i treated myself the other month to a new bag, the only problem being the size!!! when I ordered it I thought it was a little cute size but it arrived and it's a monster LOL not a bad thing as I get all my rubbich into it but still a shock :)

I have also taken up knitting again but only small things with very little sewing needed as I am awful at the sewing bit LOL I started with fingerless gloves and had some wool left so made a camcorder bag for our new digi camera. I got the buttons from the best button store I have ever been in down in York, they have a wall filled with boxes and the boxes have boxes with buttons, they are even colour coded along the wall it looks megga fab. I am currently learning to knit socks nearly finished one but it hasn't been easy LOL I'll show you the results if i finish two!!

Valentines

Hope you all had a lovely day, I was spoiled rotten but seen it was Saturday had to go to work never mind. I thought I'd share with you last last set of pics from the cards i made this year, my fav's have to be the top two goth cards I just love those stamps and so does everyone else.
I haven't got much planned this week and even less now that I can't get rid of the sore neck I developed three days ago, I'm to afraid to head to my doc's though as he'll want to stick pins in me so I'm going to put up with it for another couple of days and if I really need to I'll go see Doctor pain!!! LOL he is lovely to be honest but he just loves gettin me with his acupuncture and he knows how much I hate needles!!!

Non Cardi

I just thought I'd show you the two last min gifts I made yesterday, a friend of mine had a little girl & my mum needed a gift for a girl in her work who was leaving :) we where out shopping looking for gifts and I jokingly said we could come up with something cute & quirky. Inside there is a vest, a pair of socks, scratch mits & a dummy, best of all they are complete with a mini card aaawwww I so don't want one Hahahaha

I'm on a roll

For some reason my mojo is working over time so I am making the most while I can, well that's in between trying to get my website shop sorted!!! It's not going as fast as I would like it too but hopefully well get there before the summer :)

Look What i Found!!!!

I was busy shopping in Asda when I remembered I needed wrapping for hubs valentine when I saw the lush Forever Friends pack :) Well I got it out today to find two sheets and two card tags


Well i just had to have a play and came up with this

I had to get my Swarovski crystal somehow LOL

I then decided the little heart could do with some of my expencive glitter :) Now hubs has a card to match with his wrapping paper, I also got loads of square from the wrapping that the kids are going to use for their own cards.
